As we reflect on 2024, we are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from our community to advance our collective mission. Now more than ever, we are asking for your continued support to help AFH create change in our creative economy. 

As Boston’s largest youth employer, we will employ a record 400+ teen artists and designers at AFH this year. As the City’s Arts & Culture Coalition Lead, we have been working with nonprofits to support an additional 200+ youth. 

Beyond the unprecedented youth jobs AFH created this year, we provided mentorship to an additional 525+ students in partnerships with schools through our Co-Lab Program—with AFH mentors engaging students in hands-on learning to complete projects that benefit their community.

To build the bridges from the communities we serve to the workforce of the future, it will take more than AFH alone. We will be more effective by engaging in and around Greater Boston, across organizations, and through public policy. Over this past year, we expanded our work even further with State and City leaders to create more support, advocacy, and funding for creative enterprises.
